Are England Transfers sightseeing tours private or group tours?
Every tour is 100% private — your vehicle, your schedule, your party only. There are no other passengers, no fixed group departure times, and no rushing between stops. You choose when to leave each attraction.
How much does a private sightseeing tour cost?
Prices start from around £150 for shorter trips (e.g. Stratford-upon-Avon) and range to £360+ for longer journeys to the Lake District or York. The full price is shown before you book and includes your driver waiting throughout. There are no hidden fees or surge charges.
Can I book a tour departing from a cruise port?
Yes — this is one of our specialities. We regularly collect passengers from Southampton, Dover, Tilbury and other UK cruise terminals for full-day sightseeing excursions to Stonehenge, Windsor Castle, Bath, Oxford and beyond, then return you to the port before your ship sails. We monitor AIS ship-tracking so your driver adjusts to your vessel's actual docking time.
What is included in the tour price?
Your price covers door-to-door transfer to and from your chosen pick-up point (hotel, airport, or cruise port), a professional driver throughout, and waiting time at each attraction. Entry tickets to attractions are not included — you purchase those directly at the venue.
Can I combine multiple attractions in one day?
Absolutely. Many customers combine two or three sites — for example Stonehenge and Bath, or Windsor Castle and Oxford. Simply add extra stops when you get your quote; each additional stop includes waiting time at £60 per hour.
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially for cruise-port collections and peak summer dates. Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before departure.
